RogerBUGLASSEileen and family would like to thank all for the cards, flowers and condolences as well as attendance at Roger's funeral. Many Thanks to Reverend John Parks for a quiet and peaceful service. It is with immense gratitude for everyone's generosity that raised a considerable amount towards both St Oswald's Hospice and The Great North Air Ambulance Service. A special thanks to Gawin Holmes and his two Shire X Clydsdale horses Jake and Soreie and the dray for carrying Roger from High Steads to St Johns Church Longhirst, supported by his two grooms Janet and Davey who walked the distance. Many thanks to Claire and staff from Co-op Funeralcare for the funeral arrangements. Thank you to Haley's catering and staff for your very sustainable refreshment buffet. Last but not least to my loving family who have supported me and each other at this sad time. Thank you Ma x

My brother and I (Alex and David Robbie) remember Roger well from our youth when we were neighbours on Newsham Road, Blyth. We played together as children and often visited Newsham Farm, which I think belonged to Roger's uncle. Roger went to work there when he left school. We are very sorry to hear of Roger's death and have very happy memories of him.
